Food has always felt like more than just something to eat. Some of the happiest and most comforting moments in life happen around it — slow coffee rituals, desserts you look forward to all day, sharing meals, or simply allowing yourself small moments of indulgence. This illustration turns those feelings into a surreal dreamlike world built from some of my favourite comforts.
The illustration was created for the Pictoplasma Balkans open call exploring the theme of characters cooking and eating.
